What You'll Do As a Coach, you'll become part: ✔ Personal Trainer ✔ Accountability Partner ✔ Health Consultant ✔ Motivator ✔ Problem Solver Daily responsibilities include: * Coach clients through our 20-minute strength workouts * Build relationships that increase client motivation and long-term success * Perform fitness assessments and track measurable progress over time * Review strength reports, mobility improvements, body composition, and goals * Educate clients on exercise, recovery, mobility, and healthy habits * Perform or assist with guided stretching sessions, including PNF-based assisted stretching techniques, to improve mobility and movement quality * Conduct consultations and support new client onboarding * Follow up with members to celebrate progress and maintain accountability * Help create an exceptional experience from first session through long-term transformation What Makes Someone Successful Here We Care Deeply About Attitude And People Skills. Job Overview Goal Driven Habits is hiring a Personal Trainer with a background in physical therapy or a rehab setting. They should have experience working with all populations and they would be responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs tailored to the specific needs of our clients. This would involve learning and understanding the current lifestyle and movement qualities of individuals, advising on health improvement strategies, and coaching them on setting and achieving health and fitness goals. The coach would need to have a thorough understanding of physical therapy and training principles and be able to apply them to the design of safe and effective strength training programs. Collaboration between the coach and referring physicians and physical therapists is not uncommon and is expected where necessary to help deliver integrative and holistic programming. Responsibilities Develop customized training programs tailored to clients’ individual needs, goals, and fitness levels Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety during exercises Lead semi-private training sessions, working within the program structure and modifying exercises based on the participant's individual abilities. Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, and proper exercise techniques to maximize results and prevent injury Track client progress and adjust programs accordingly to ensure continuous improvement Maintain a clean, organized workout environment in accordance with health and safety standards Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in personal training and sports coaching Requirements B.A. in a health and fitness-related field, such as (a) exercise science, (b) exercise physiology, (c) kinesiology, (d) sports medicine, or a degree in physical therapy. Sufficient experience in the field is also accepted if the educational background differs. A training certification from a governing body such as NASM or NSCA. Two to three years of work experience in this field is preferred but not required. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics Expertise in program design for individual and group training sessions Experience in sports coaching and teaching physical education principles Proven ability in personal training within a gym or health club setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients of diverse backgrounds Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while ensuring client safety and proper form Pay: $32.00 - $41.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule * Gym membership Work Location: In person
