Material handling devices (e.g., hand truck, fork truck, and conveyors) are used when possible, however, use of proper lifting and movement techniques is necessary to prevent injury. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime, as necessary. Requirements ---------------- Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent technical training and experience will be considered. One to three years of relevant experience required. Familiar with radiation safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred. Ability to use a variety of general-purpose test equipment and bench test electronic system components. Good mechanical inclination and proficiencies. Good technical troubleshooting skills with and without schematics. Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the following: solid state and vacuum tube based electronics, analog and digital circuits, logic circuits/PLCs, high power RF systems (high HF through low VHF ranges), high voltage DC power equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and vacuum systems (mechanical, cryogenic, and/or diffusion pumps) preferred. Experience working around ionizing radiation sources preferred. Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred. Ability to communicate equipment issues to Cyclotron Specialist.
