Take a look at some of our projects: https://spectrumdesignbuild.com/portfolio/ Position Overview: The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that each project is completed in a timely manner, at or under the estimated budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. You will work with our entire team and trusted trades in a managerial role, delegating tasks to subcontractors and carpenters to work on certain construction projects and you will oversee the field construction alongside the other Production Leader. To support this, responsibilities include creating and following detailed project requirements and scopes of work, updating clients and stakeholders on the construction status, conducting regular site checks to review the workers’ progress, and ensure they’re following proper safety standards, budgeting and estimating, and interacting with our staff and design teammates for all project execution. Ability to estimate complex projects is a plus! Key Responsibilities: Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors; includes but not limited to maintaining adequate workforce of carpenters and / or trainees to meet company standards Develop and maintain carpenters schedules Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction Provide effective management of construction of the project(s); delivered on time and on budget according to the project plan and financial expectations Track material delivery times, assuring materials arrive at the job site as scheduled Hire \& direct subcontractors \& tradesmen as needed to complete the build Facilitate the exchange of information between the owner, subcontractors, vendors, and bodies of authority in a professional, concise, and timely fashion Deliver project status reporting updates against project milestones Negotiating and writing subcontracts, purchase orders, monthly billings, scheduling budgeting, cost monitoring, and documentation; cohesive interactions with Company Finance Manager Estimate cost and pricing for projects, including scopes and project requirements, and in-project add works/ change orders Coordinate work demands with the other Production Leader and managers/designers to meet production deadlines Handle project administration / QAQC Significant opportunity for growth and additional responsibility depending on work experience and performance Skills: Knowledge and experience in residential construction (design+build), project management, techniques and tools used n residential development and construction Sub-trade, carpentry \& tradesmen management experience including QA/QC Critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent prioritization Results-focused with a strong sense of urgency and accountability Exceptional communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders), both written and verbal Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills Organized, dependable, and self directed individual - ability to manage workload independently Qualifications: 3-5+ years experience in the residential construction industry in a management/ coordinator role 3-5+ years experience in Residential Project Management 3+ years of experience managing field/ trade staff Post-secondary education in construction, project management, or engineering is preferred Computer software skills - Microsoft Office Benefits: Eligible to enroll in Spectrum sponsored health insurance program after 90 days, with employee contributions Dental Health Vision Flexible PTO 11 PAID Holidays Casual, but professional, dress Personal development \& training programs to enhance your career path promotion Bonus opportunities Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From$70,000- $110,000 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5 pm Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
