Restoration Project Supervisor / Estimator
Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mitigation Restoration Supervisor Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Environmental Services industry. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and estimating mitigation and restoration projects that aim to reduce environmental impacts and facilitate ecological recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of ecological principles, regulatory guidelines, and project management, as you will work closely with clients, project managers, and field staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable laws and standards. Responsibilities Oversee and manage mitigation and restoration projects from initiation to completion. Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine project requirements and environmental impacts. Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for various restoration projects. Collaborate with project coordinators \& project managers and field personnel to establish project timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and industry standards throughout projects. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and subcontractors on project execution. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mitigation and restoration projects, with a focus on estimating roles. Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and best management practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools for estimating costs and tracking project progress. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex site conditions. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for presentations and stakeholder interactions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
