Position Overview --------------------- Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), invites applications for a Staff Athletic Trainer. This position will work under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. The Staff Athletic Trainer will support all aspects of sports medicine services including but not limited to injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries/illness; proper documentation of injury evaluation and treatment; on-site coverage and travel; supervision of part time seasonal athletic trainers and student workers; and administrative duties as assigned. This is a full-time, 10-month position. Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) Princeton Sports and Family Medicine, P.C., (PSFM) a growing and busy Wellness Center, that includes Sports Medicine, Family Practice \& Physical Therapy located in Lawrenceville N.J. (close to Princeton) is a seeking a qualified medical professional to join our patient-oriented team. This is a well-established practice that provides exceptional care to patients. PSFM focuses on diagnosing and treating patients in a kind, compassionate, care-centered, outpatient environment in a private practice setting. Candidates should have: Education: Master's degree in dietetics or a related field from an ACEND-accredited program (required for exams after Jan 1, 2024). Supervised Practice: Completion of an ACEND-accredited internship or equivalent. National Exam: Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam. State Licensure: NJ state licensure from the New Jersey Board of Dietetics and Nutrition – LDN (or eligible to apply) to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Key Responsibilities Assessment \& Planning: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, analyze medical history, and develop tailored diet plans considering preferences, budgets, and health conditions (e.g., diabetes, heart disease). Counseling \& Education: Counsel individuals and groups on healthy eating, portion control, food choices, and lifestyle modifications Collaboration: Work with Sports Medicine, Family Practice, Physical Therapy, Movement Coaches, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care Monitoring \& Evaluation: Track client progress throughout, evaluate the effectiveness of plans, and make necessary adjustments. Program Development: Drive our Weight Loss Program, create educational materials, workshops, and nutrition programs for various audiences. Research \& Standards: Stay current with the latest nutrition science, research, and guidelines.
