Visit our website to learn more about us: https://www.naluri.life/ Job Details * Position: Data Analyst * Location: Hybrid (2 to 3 days WFO) – Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley * Salary Range: RM 3,000 - RM 4,000/month * Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Junior Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the company. You will work closely with stakeholders and the data team to transform raw data into clear, reliable insights using our cloud data warehouse. This is a hands-on role suited for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. What You’ll Do * Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data (i.e AWS Redshift) * Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Looker) * Support stakeholders by translating business questions into structured analysis * Assist in validating data accuracy and identifying inconsistencies * Perform data cleaning, including handling missing or incomplete data * Work with existing models to understand data structures and reporting logic * Document metric definitions and reporting logic clearly * Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions * Escalate data issues and collaborate with the data team to resolve them What We’re Looking For * 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field (fresh grads with strong internship experience may be considered) * Strong foundational SQL skills * Experience working with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) * Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or similar) * Basic understanding of data cleaning and validation * Strong attention to detail and logical thinking * Clear communication skills and ability to present findings simply * Eagerness to learn and grow in a startup environment * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and reliability * Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders Bonus Points For * Experience with orchestration tools * Familiarity with data lake architecture and partitioning strategies * Knowledge of CI/CD for data workflows * Experience working with event-driven or streaming data * Familiarity with BI tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Looker * Exposure to AWS Redshift or other cloud data warehouses * Familiarity with DBT * Basic Python knowledge * Understanding of data access controls, compliance, and governance best practices Perks * Flexible Paid Time-Off: We believe in work-life balance! * Medical Insurance: Your well-being is our priority. * Free use of our digital healthcare app, providing 24/7 access to medical experts. * Covered therapy sessions: Mental health matters too!
