Onboarding Specialist

Location - Hillsboro, Oregon (On-site) Compensation - $23.00-24.00 Hourly * Lead and manage the onboarding process across all sub-departments * Managing background checks and MVRs for candidates being pushed through the pre-employment screening process * Attend weekly meetings to remain up to date on company goals and vision * Collaborate with HR, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and expectations * Collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure all pre-onboarding paperwork and HRIS are set up before the new hire’s start date * Responsible for pushing through all new hires to active in HRIS after receiving roll call from trainers and updating ATS to display accuracy for attendance * Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding experience to ensure it is streamlined, engaging, and effective in promoting long-term employee satisfaction and retention * Protects confidentiality by keeping personal information confidential Other Duties and Responsibilities: This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the individual occupying this position. Group Fitness Instructor

Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club (HFAC) in Hillsboro is looking for inspiring Group Exercise Instructors to join our vibrant fitness community. If you love leading people, creating meaningful class experiences, and bringing positive energy into the room, we’d love to meet you. We’re currently seeking instructors with experience in Yoga, Barre, and/or Mat Pilates. Familiarity with Small Group Training is a plus. PRIORITY TIMES: Wednesdays 5:30 pm, Sundays 4:30 pm, Mondays-Saturdays 10:30 am At HFAC, our instructors play a key role in building connection, confidence, and consistency for our members. We value professionalism, reliability, and the ability to create a welcoming, motivating environment for all fitness levels. Compensation: $28 - $35 hourly Responsibilities: Design and deliver fun, high-quality classes with thoughtful programming, music, and clear goals. Arrive early to prepare the space and lead classes that begin and end on time with professionalism and polish. Lead with expertise and precision, emphasizing proper technique, safety, and results for all fitness levels. Create an elevated member experience by building genuine connections, learning names, and supporting individual goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and premium studio environment, including care of all equipment. Represent HFAC’s brand standards through exceptional service, presence, and community leadership. Qualifications:Essential Requirements: Group Exercise Instructors are required to be currently certified in First Aid \& CPR/AED and have a nationally recognized certification to teach group fitness, such as ACE (American Council on Exercise), AFAA (Aerobics \& Fitness Association of America), or ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Must have a certification in the specific class format that you're applying for.
