Experience Minimum of 2 years of general Actuarial experience or 1 year of Actuarial experience and the successful completion of two exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Prior experience to include ratemaking or reserving experience preferred. Technical/Professional Knowledge Requires statistical and math skills necessary for completion of actuarial exams. Requires the ability to think critically and exercise independent judgment in the analysis of data. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Job Requirements Education High School Diploma required Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required Work Experience Experience in a clinical setting preferred Required Licenses/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA). Image Management: Verifying image quality and ensuring images are sent to radiologists for interpretation. Knowledge Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement. Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.
