Ensure members are treated with respect and attended to by your team A monthly in club event is required at each club to be set up by the Fitness Manager, artwork to be sent through to Marketing Manager no later than the 7th of each month. A Consumables Report and Maintenance Progress Report to be sent on your Club WhatsApp group or via email every Friday All GPT, Free PT, Assessments, instructor classes and staff classes to be logged on your Club Google sheet daily Weekly check with Admin to confirm PT commission and Instructor pay balances to Daily sheets and Club Manager Subject to targets brought in by the introduction of ancillary revenue products, such as nutrition plans FM to manage maintenance managers Go through the Maintenance Checklist with the Maintenance Manager first thing in the morning, and sign off, make comments etc. Perform daily checks around the gym - this must be accompanied by 3 checks and posts on the Issues WhatsApp group a day Friday maintenance reports must be completed once a week, ensuring this is done on the same day each week Updating Class Instructor sheets with no more than a 3 day delay PT commissions must be confirmed and completed by the 12th of the month. Top Assessor must be posted no later than 7 days into month External PT's rent must be paid by 7th of the month The cleaning order must be completed and submitted by the 23rd of every month Club Audit must be done by 7th of every month 80 - 100% Assessment Target must be hit to avoid a strike Event posters - be proactive in submitting and following up with the Marketing Department. Staff appraisals must be completed every 2 months and submitted to HR and kept on file in the Admin/Fitness office. Lost and Found box to have inventory checked once a month and a separate High Value box is to be kept up to date Management of Staff: The following staff will report to you: Maintenance Technician: Spot checks to be performed on a weekly basis based on the instruction given by the Head of Maintenance Housekeeping staff Personal Trainers Floor Staff Instructors for Group Classes New Member Specialist PT Member Service: Manage all aspects of Private training within the club for both in-house and rental PT’s Recruitment and hiring of new PT’s, in conjunction with HR Setting up class schedules in different areas of the gym so that they do not clash with regular members training and so that PTs have access to GPT areas without clashing Designing new routines for GPT in conjunction with the PT’s Making sure our PT offering stays relevant and members stay engaged and achieve results Doing monthly assessment on all GPT members and moving them to a new trainer if they are not achieving results Ensuring the PT is changed on EPL so that the PTs get paid correction (Club Manager) Doing assessments on all regular members Calling members who haven't trained for a month to invite them back in PT SALES AND ALLOCATION TO BE DONE AS PER PRESCRIBED RULES Contact members on taskbar Book assessment Allocate to the PT most suitable for the PT sessions (able to assist the member in all needs) As PT do not access CM when not on duty, if a new member is booked PT in PT’s off time (example: PT leaves Friday at 13:00, do not schedule an appointment for Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, as they will not be aware of this. They must be informed on the WhatsApp group of a member booking When assessment is done the same day as PT session you will need to: Do assessment 30 minutes to 1 hour before session Inform PT 15 minutes before of any issues the member has Introduce member to the PT Allow PT to sit down with member before the session starts - this allows for induction Keep calendar up to date - any unnecessary information needs to be cancelled/deleted as this clouds the system and view of training sessions All PT contracts to be sold on Club Manager Operations: Ensure PTs comply with company policies and procedures in the Operations Manual Time keeping Uniform Cleanliness Member Etiquette Suitable qualifications Fitness: Ensuring floor classes are executed at a professional level Monthly training of fitness staff on how to deliver expert level classes Setting the standard by delivering floor fitness classes Ensuring all fitness staff are able to run a professional assessment of our members Monthly assessments of our floor staff classes Marketing Set up and monitor WhatsApp groups for all PTs and their groups, and make sure all PTs are posting motivational stuff but not over killing with too much stuff Arranging competitions between members, groups, different PTs etc. Arranging outside events, marathons, spinning events etc. for club Assisting with external lead generation/canvassing etc. Sales: Selling ancillary products to members being assessed Supplements, clothing, training gear, ready made meals etc. Encouraging members who are coming for an assessment to bring a friend who can sign up Signing up these referrals Housekeeping: Ensure all GPT equipment is in top condition, clean and safe to use General: Monitor daily checklist that must be done by people within your department Daily feedback on operations to Club Manager (stats on assessments and daily booking on assessments as well as operational functions) Any other lawful instruction given by managements Should you feel that this job is for you, please send your resume by applying on Indeed Job Type: Full-time Pay: From R7 000,00 per month Work Location: In person
