Responsibilities Record journal entries and post to the general ledger. Maintain accuracy of accounts through reconciliations. Prepare adjusting entries for accruals, prepaids, and depreciation. Generate and review Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Prepare Trial Balance and Adjusted Trial Balance. Support management with variance analysis (budget vs. actual). Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books. Prepare documentation for audits, lenders, and tax filings. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Create invoices and post sales receipts in Sage. Record and reconcile customer payments and deposits. Monitor Accounts Receivable and prepare A/R Aging reports. Enter and process vendor bills for fixed and variable expenses. Manage Accounts Payable and ensure timely payments. Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain accurate records. Required Skills Experience in Sage. Strong understanding of the accounting cycle (journal entries --> financial statements). Knowledge of payroll processing, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations. Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel formula like Vlookup, Sumif, Pivot tables and IF functions. Education \& Experience Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
