What you'll do: Conduct market research on prospects by developing and maintaining reliable sources for economic and market information for a specific region. Utilize community and industry networks and prepare regular internal updates for business planning purposes. Utilize Salesforce CRM to track all data and information. Cultivate relationships with prospects to create leads and possibilities for new business, prioritizing opportunities to pursue in accordance with the company's market focus. Generate field measurement estimates and take-offs. Collaborate with clients to determine the appropriate service frequencies and specifications that will meet expectations. Develop contracts and review proposals with the Sales Manager and resolve any issues that may arise. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass or related major is a plus. Key responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to. • Establish a deep understanding of the Finance team’s requirements, identify and fill data gaps, and aid the generation of new ideas that increase automation, drive efficiencies, increase data accuracy, and improve the flow of data between systems. • Deliver solutions to the Finance team to increase automation, drive efficiencies, increase data accuracy, and improve the flow of data between systems via integrations and automation • Drive growth through a data-first and automation-first ethos. • Proactively identify areas that need improving or updating, finding solutions based on thorough research and deep analysis • Research for data solutions, including analysis of internal analytics data, AI tools, financial data reporting, summarising, and presenting insights • Operationalise the daily, weekly, and monthly understanding of reports and flow of data through automation and establishing dashboards that are widely accessible through collaboration with the engineering team and stakeholder-driven objectives. • Work closely with VP Finance, Financial Controller, and Director of FP&A to identify data automation opportunities and effectively prioritise projects to ensure maximum efficiencies [in terms of time savings for the team] are delivered every week.
