LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Denison, TX (75020) Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Friday 8am - 12pm (additional hours / rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed) Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: * 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment * 6 months or more assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric) * Current or prior LabCorp experience Additional Job Standards: * In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment * Exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision This role will work in our client's office setting to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. The laboratory analyst will be responsible for performing analytical testing on traditional large molecule drug products using Ligand Binding techniques. Job Responsibilities include: Performing analytical analysis on large drug molecule products utilizing the ligand binding and immunochemistry analytical techniques; such as ELISA, MSD®and Gyrolab® Working as part of a team alongside other lab analysts, study managers and project managers to perform analysis in accordance with GLP regulatory requirements. Performing sample preparation and extraction for analysis, following strict method guidelines. Data processing and performing additional analysis depending on the results obtained. Writing SOPs (standard operating procedure); as well as working on process improvement projects for the division to ensure the best possible service is delivered.
