DayaMed is currently seeking an IN-PERSON Medical Assistant to support our clinic operations in the Vacherie and Thibodaux, Louisiana areas. This is an on-site position. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role. Position Details: Location: Vacherie and Thibodaux, LA Schedule: Full-time Work Environment: In-clinic, patient-facing role Key Responsibilities Conduct patient outreach calls. Perform medication reconciliations and help patients understand care plans. Support patients with device setup, troubleshooting, and non-clinical questions. Monitor biometric device data, flag abnormalities, and escalate clinical concerns to nurses. Document interactions, update patient records, and ensure accuracy in EMR/EHR systems. Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and uploading documentation. Collaborate with team members in daily workflows, huddles, and ongoing training. Qualifications Medical Assistant credential Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical, telehealth, or care coordination role. Proficiency with EMR systems, digital tools, and comfort working in a clinical environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to patient-first care. Preferred Experience Prior experience with CCM, RPM, or BHI programs. Experience supporting patients in office or a telehealth setting. Why Join DayaMed?
