Technical Analyst I

Position Summary The Technical Analyst I, under Management supervision and guidance is responsible for following prescribed methods for the integration, implementation, and management of departmental specific clinical and business software applications, the specific hardware devices utilized for these applications by those departments, and their accompanying infrastructure components. This position works within Information Technology (IT) to support all devices that integrate within the clinical environment with assistance from Technical Analyst II and Technical Analyst III or manager. This support includes troubleshooting user problems, report writing, training/retraining end users, and testing upgrades as well as reviewing, analyzing, developing, installing and modifying software and hardware. This position is responsible for detecting, diagnosing and reporting on related problems. Qualifications Specialty Education License/Certification Experience Clinical Ancillary Systems 01-6610 High School diploma required. Associate degree or Technical Diploma in related field. Valid New Jersey Driver's License. * 1-2 years of experience with implementation of medical device and their clinical application. * In lieu of degree, 3 years of Information Technology in an application/user support role may be considered. * Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously. * Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills. * Extensive experience with Microsoft office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Minimum 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area required. Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS * Develops and maintains knowledge of system applications, devices and/or services. * Provides timely and efficient assistance/response/support to end-users including device integration system related issues under the direct supervision of a higher level CIE or management designate. * Working technical knowledge of current networks and printing capabilities. * Assists IT resources as necessary configuring, installing, upgrading, and maintaining hardware and software. * Troubleshoots and identifies issues and problems, working with vendors as the primary application and technical representative, as needed. * Assists in monitoring system security and access, ensuring system integrity. * Develops and performs tests and audits related to the integration of hardware and software. * Consistently and accurately documents within the ITSM databases/tools. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Works under general direction of Technical Analyst Level II and III or manager/director. * Uses discretion in identifying and resolving problems and assignments. * Receives specific instructions and has work reviewed at frequent milestones. * Interacts with department/project team members/leaders to fulfill goals. * Makes recommendations which may impact the work assigned to individuals or phases of projects. * Performs a broad range of duties, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments. * Applies methodical approach to problem definition and resolution. * Understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications. * Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. * Demonstrates effective communication skills. * Contributes fully to the work of teams. * Absorbs and applies technical information. * Works to required standards. * Appreciates the wider field of information systems, and how own role relates to other roles and to the business of the employer or client. * Actively understands relevant legal, legislative, and policy issues as it relates to area of responsibility. * Assures the Information Technology (IT) needs support the goals and objectives of the customer as well as the business needs of AtlantiCare. * Participates in system design, validation and/or remediation sessions. * Assists in the development of training materials, policies and procedures working in collaboration with Technical Analyst Level II and III. * Ensures a smooth and thorough turnover process to technical and operational support. * Utilize the ITIL framework in the areas of incident, change and problem management services within AtlantiCare. WORKING CONDITOINS Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment on an occasional basis, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone. This position requires repetitive motion, fingering, hearing, pushing, reaching, reading, calculating, seeing, speaking, standing, and walking a majority of the time. Exercise Physiologist Stress Lab

POSITION SUMMARY The Exercise Physiologist analyzes a patient's medical history to assess risk during exercise and determine the ideal exercise and fitness regimen for the patient. The Exercise Physiologist also performs cardiac stress tests including pharmacological cardiac stress testing with medical equipment and analyzes the resulting patient data, which includes blood pressure, oxygen usage, heart rhythm, and other key patient health indicators. The Exercise Physiologist in the Stress Lab is responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular stress testing examinations. Cardiac stress testing is a noninvasive study that provides information about the patient's cardiac function. Stress tests are a routine part of an exercise physiologist's cardiac fitness evaluation. The Exercise Physiologist administers the entire test (from attaching leads to assisting during an adverse event), records and analyzes the data generated, and explains the test procedure and details to the patient. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science required. Master's degree in Exercise Physiology preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire or transfer. American Heart Association ACLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer. ACSM Exercise Physiologist or Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certified required within 1 year from date of hire or transfer, current incumbents required to obtain by 8/1/26. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-2 years experience administering maximal and sub-maximal graded exercise tests; supervisory experience preferred. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position. POSITION SUMMARY -------------------- The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care and support within the ambulatory setting. The Medical Assistant accurately completes patient interviews, collects appropriate specimens, assists the physician with patient exams, maintains departmental inventory, provides patient education, and ensures quality direct patient care and non-professional services as directed by Physician. This position is also responsible for performing the following as required by position: phlebotomy for diagnostic studies, CLIA waived testing. This position may also complete EKG's and drug and alcohol testing. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation. As part of the Virtualist Program, this position is responsible for collecting patient intakes remotely and assisting in telehealth visits as directed by the physician. This position is not responsible for doing any hands-on patient exams and procedures, collecting specimens or phlebotomy for diagnostic studies. For this program, BLS certification is excluded. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certification in Phlebotomy ASCP preferred. BLSHCP certified within six months of hire or transfer. Must be a graduate of a post-secondary Medical Assistance program accredited by a national acceding agency, with a minimum of 330 hours of instruction, with special training around medication administration as per the NJ Board of Medical Examiners required. All Certified Medical Assistants must maintain active National Certification with a certifying agency approved by NJ (i.e. American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) National Center of Competency Testing (NCCT), National Health Career Association (NHA) or American Medical Technologist (AMT), Board of Medical Examiners (BME), required. As part of the Virtualist Program, BLS certification is excluded. EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of prior experience in Ambulatory care preferred. Able to handle high volume of interactions with frequent interruptions required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position. WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the medical office environment, blood borne pathogens, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing and walking. This position also requires long periods of telephone work. This position frequently lifts 25-50 lbs and occasionally lifts 50-100 lbs. Periodic traveling to other department locations is expected.
