Consultant Sports Medicine (Orthopedic) – Abu Dhabi
Job Overview: As a Consultant in Sports Medicine (Orthopedics), you will play a critical role in our organization by providing expert medical care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, with a passion for working with athletes and active individuals. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat sports-related injuries and conditions such as fractures, sprains, strains, and dislocations. Perform surgical procedures, including arthroscopy, joint reconstruction, and ligament repair. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including physical therapy, medication, and rehabilitation. Provide education and counseling to patients on injury prevention, proper nutrition, and exercise techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate patient care. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery through continuing education and attending conferences. Mentor and supervise medical staff, residents, and medical students. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited university. Board certification in orthopedic surgery from a recognized institution. Fellowship training in sports medicine. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Consultant in Sports Medicine (Orthopedic). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
