Job Description ActionOnsite is hiring a licensed Injury Prevention Specialist to provide onsite support for industrial athletes in warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution environments. This role focuses on proactive injury prevention, ergonomic job coaching, and early intervention support aligned with OSHA first aid guidelines. The Injury Prevention Specialist will be visible on the floor, partnering with employees and site leadership to reduce ergonomic risk, improve movement habits, and help prevent discomfort from escalating into recordable injuries. This is a high-impact, people-forward role that blends clinical skill with workplace coaching and culture change. Key Responsibilities / Job DutiesOnsite Injury Prevention Support Provide onsite injury prevention services focused on early reporting, risk reduction, and proactive care Support employees experiencing discomfort through OSHA first-aid level early intervention protocols Observe movement patterns and provide immediate coaching to improve safety and reduce strain Help prevent minor issues from escalating through timely education, action planning, and follow-through Ergonomic Job Coaching \& Assessments Perform job task observations to identify ergonomic risk factors (force, repetition, posture, fatigue) Coach safe work techniques including lifting mechanics, body positioning, and “green zone” working postures Support workstation and job process improvement recommendations when risks are identified Conduct or contribute to ergonomic assessments (ex: REBA, RULA, task analysis) based on site needs Employee Engagement \& Education Build rapport and trust with employees through consistent floor presence and respectful communication Lead or support group education including: Pre-shift warm-ups Micro-break education Safe lifting \& movement training Ergonomic awareness and reporting culture Reinforce ActionOnsite’s mission: prevention-first support with practical coaching employees can apply immediately Documentation \& Reporting Document services clearly and consistently using ActionOnsite systems (ex: Salesforce or similar platforms) Track onsite activities including early interventions, coaching interactions, wellness support, and risk observations Communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership as needed to support safety initiatives Collaboration \& Professional Standards Partner with EHS, operations leadership, and supervisors to support injury prevention goals onsite Maintain professional boundaries, compliance, and confidentiality standards at all times Follow ActionOnsite clinical and operational processes to ensure consistent service delivery across accounts Required Qualifications Required License/Certification: PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or ATC (active and in good standing) Comfortable working in industrial settings (warehouse / manufacturing / distribution) Strong communication skills with ability to coach and educate in real time Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain consistent documentation Professional, dependable, and able to represent ActionOnsite confidently onsite Preferred Qualifications Experience in injury prevention, ergonomics, sports medicine, industrial rehab, or onsite wellness Familiarity with ergonomic tools and assessments (REBA, RULA, NIOSH lifting concepts) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week License/Certification: * Physical Therapy License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
